Member Cross-Country Ski & Snow-shoe

It looks like snow is coming our way! We’re inviting all members to join us in making
fresh tracks along the Round the Mountain Trail on Tuesday, January 9 th !
We will split into two groups. Both skiers and snowshoers will be joined by a staff
member from the Land Trust.
If conditions do not allow for a snowy excursion, we will still hike the trails! Be sure to
bring appropriate footwear, including spikes if needed. Skis and snowshoes will not be
provided.
We will meet at 12PM at the Thorndike Brook trailhead located at 223 Hope Street in Hope
(Google maps does not show this accurately). For the Thorndike Brook Trailhead turn onto Hope
Street from Route 17 (eight miles north of Rockland) or from Gillette Road. The parking lot is just
past the existing parking lot for the Georges Highland Path (¾ miles from Route 17).
No registration is necessary! All members are welcome to join!
