Trail Descriptions
Maces Pond is a popular fishing spot for warm-water species. It is bordered by Route 17 to the east, the preserve to the southeast, and private undeveloped ownership to the west. Fishing can be done on shore, by boat, and on ice. This preserve conserves shorefront on Maces Pond’s outlet and Meadow Brook, which drains into Chickawaukie Lake. A hand-carry launch is accessible at the pull-off on Route 17 at the preserve. A short loop-trail follows the waterfront, and provides glimpses of the neighboring Rockville Cemetery. #sidespreserve

Directions
From Camden, take Route 1 south, then take Route 90 inland. After 2.5 miles, turn left onto Route 17. Drive 1.4 miles east on Route 17. Roadside parking is on the right immediately after Maces Pond. Look for the preserve sign at the road.
